Gabrielle Chanel - Fashion Manifesto at V&A Museum
Storey Studio
LONDON
Exhibition

Through a collaboration with Storey Studio, Paper Factor's innovative micro paper materials took center stage in the design of the first UK exhibition honoring the legendary Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel at Victoria and Albert museum.

The exhibition design for the first UK exhibition dedicated to the work of French couturière Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel was a project by Storey Studio. They created an elegantly minimal exhibition design that highlights the objects and mirrors the haute couturière’s own aesthetic, utilizing Paper Factor's micro paper materials.
The exhibition traced the establishment of the House of CHANEL and the evolution of the iconic design style of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, which continues to influence women's fashion today. Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto (2020) was conceptualized and curated by Miren Arzalluz and Véronique Belloir, respectively director and curator of Palais Galliera, with the support of the House of Chanel. From its inception, it was designed as a traveling exhibition and has already been showcased in Melbourne and Tokyo.
