Paper Factor collaborates with Reddymade Architecture & Design to redefine luxury living near Central Park, using an elegant combination of skins: Veins Black and Ruts Medium with Black Veins. Hand processed with FSC micro-paper and natural pigments.

A pioneering project by Paper Factor and Reddymade Architecture & Design breathes new life into a private home near Central Park, Manhattan. Using Paper Factor's Veins Black/Ruts Medium with Black Veins, handcrafted with FSC micro-paper and natural pigments, the 1,275 square foot apartment underwent a complete renovation to enhance its stunning Central Park views. Originally a two-bedroom layout, it was transformed into a one-bedroom space with an added office to meet the client's needs.
The design aimed to maximize natural light and panoramic views while emphasizing spaciousness with carefully chosen textures and materials. The entry foyer, enveloped in a sculptural Paper Factor surface with acoustic properties, sets a tranquil tone for the entire home. The paper wall mimics the solidity of stone with the softness of paper, subtly elongating the space with its floor-to-ceiling vertical ruts. The living, dining, and kitchen areas seamlessly flow together, all enjoying the breathtaking views. The redesigned kitchen features a sculptural stone block concealing the cooktop and providing storage and seating. A comfortable banquette by the park-facing windows invites relaxed conversations against the scenic backdrop.
